Winter Skills Courses and Winter Walking

About Argyll Walking Holidays does not offer winter skills courses or winter walking, but our guide Stewart Richardson offers both in Glenshee in the Southern Cairngorms. The Ski Centre in Glenshee is the perfect place to hone your skills, as it gives access to the tops of 3 Munro's very quickly. This means your time is spent developing your skills straight from the start without the need for extended walk-ins to find suitable conditions.

The Winter Skills Courses are designed to make the most of your time spent with Stewart Richardson, a fully qualified instructor. Stewart has loads of experience to pass on during the course gained from many years of walking and climbing in winter conditions all over the world.

There are 3 courses:

• 1-day Ice Axe and Crampon Course
• 2-day Winter Skills Course including advanced winter skills, avalanche awareness and basic winter rope work
• 3-day Scottish Winter and Alpine Skills Course

Stewart also offers taior made winter walking and winter skills courses all over Scotland.
